Remedia is a Nigerian digital public infrastructure company. We design, integrate, and build technology systems for public administration, humanitarian programs, and other essential services — the kind of systems that need to work for millions of people, stay auditable, and not depend on any single vendor.
We call this work Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) — shared digital systems, like identity verification or payment rails, that many programs and agencies can use instead of each one building its own from scratch. Our belief: most failures in public service delivery — fraud, delays, lost records, opaque spending — are infrastructure failures before they are policy failures. Fix the infrastructure, and the services built on top of it get better automatically.

We've spent close to a decade working inside Nigeria's hardest infrastructure problems — humanitarian aid distribution, digital health interoperability, and national-scale government data exchange. That work taught us the same lesson everywhere: programs keep rebuilding the same core systems — identity checks, payment rails, audit trails — instead of sharing them.

Remedia's flagship infrastructure work, Remedia DPI, is the product of nearly a decade diagnosing the same structural problem across welfare, humanitarian, and health programs: identity, eligibility, and settlement logic gets rebuilt from zero in every new initiative. A welfare-distribution application built to test whether identity verification, voucher issuance, and audit logging could be combined into one accountable system for humanitarian aid. DashMe was a global finalist in Citibank's Technology for Integrity competition.
A platform designed to integrate humanitarian and welfare supply chains with local economic activity, using small and medium enterprises for last-mile delivery. RAISE was designed and budgeted under engagement with Nigeria's Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs. It was costed but never approved for implementation.
A digital health platform ecosystem for Nigeria, conceived within Remedia and co-developed with Saros Integra and APIN Public Health Initiatives. DHANIS is architected around open interoperability standards and structured for registration as a Digital Public Good.
A federated, standards-based infrastructure layer for programmable welfare and subsidy delivery — handling identity, eligibility, vouchers, merchant networks, settlement, and audit as shared rails any government, NGO, or developer can build on. Designed as a Digital Public Good: open standards, open core, no single owner of the data, no vendor lock-in.
Most of the work above sits at the concept, design, or pilot stage rather than live nationwide deployment — that's an accurate description of where Remedia is in its build-out, not a gap we're glossing over. Remedia DPI is where that accumulated diagnostic work is now being turned into operating infrastructure, with an expanding in-house build capability behind it.
DPI requirements — identity assurance, data governance, interoperability standards, settlement mechanics — differ materially by domain, even where the underlying architecture pattern repeats. Rather than design one national platform top-down, we build and prove reusable infrastructure — identity, data exchange, validation, audit — sector by sector. Each engagement strengthens the next, and the building blocks accumulate into shared national infrastructure over time, the same path GovStack's Building Block approach formalizes globally.
